Palacios Bayshore House & Camp

Welcome to Palacios! Enjoy fishing, sight seeing, bird watching, boating or just sitting on the deck catching the breeze! The house if fully equipped with everything you need from cooking to bathing & laundry. The upstairs is a complete 2 bedroom 2 bath house and the downstairs is known as "The Camp" with one bedroom (3 twin beds) & one bathroom. There is plenty of room for your hammocks on the upstairs deck! Come to the Bay unplug and stay awhile! WIFI available. Renovated in 2020 Fish off the dock when the tide is up. The drive to Matagorda Beach is about 30 minutes. Make sure to go by the Old Main Book store and say Hi to Jan! The Camp (downstairs) does not have Central AC and Heat. There is a window unit in the downstairs bedroom. There is a full kitchen in the camp and a refrigerator. Upstairs is a completely furnished updated home. Oct. 2020 Update: All new flooring, paint & updated bathrooms. WIFI added. You can use everything in the home unless there is a lock on a cabinet. We are in the process of upgrading the bathrooms and have removed the carpet as of Oct 2020. We have added WIFI but please continue to go see Jan at the Old Main Bookstore or the City Library. Palacios is perfect for biking around. We have a pier but it is unusable at this time. Please stay on the dock or use the kayak to explore the bay. You will be able to self check in and out.
