Adirondack West Branch AuSable River-front Cabin

The cabin is tucked in the woods with private & exclusive access AuSable river. A spiral staircase leads to a sleeping loft with comfy king bed & sitting area. Downstairs has double futon sofa, bathroom with clawfoot tub/shower, full kitchen & washer dryer. The space is open with hand-made cabinets, countertops & lots of wood. Outside picnic table, charcoal grill & two fire pits; one close to the house & one near the river. 30 minutes to Lake Placid. Shopping, bars & restaurants nearby. Relax in a peaceful, secluded setting and enjoy the river fishing, wading, or just watching wildlife in quiet contemplation. A big rock on the rivers edge is a great place to hang out. Activites in the area include Whiteface Mountain, Lake Placid, Olympic sites, High Peaks, fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming and skiing. You will have full private access to cabin and 2 acre property. Easy flat walk to the West Branch of the AuSable River. I am available to answer any questions and provide assistance if needed. The neighborhood is known as AuSable Acres and includes seasonal and full time residential homes. It is quiet, peaceful and unpopulated. AuSable Forks is a small nearby town that has a local bar with music on Friday nights and Saturday afternoon (The 20 Main). Tops grocery, Stewart’s gas/convenient store and a liquor store are also in town. Lake Placid or Plattsburgh have many shopping and restaurant options. Both are about 30 minutes away. Public transportation is limited to taxi services out of Lake Placid or Plattsburgh if needed. You may want to bring charcoal for the grill. Wood for the fire pits is available locally along roadsides (look for signs).
