Quaint, cozy 1920s inner city colonial, 10 minutes to downtown (30+ to the Rock Hall), 45 minutes to airport, and retail shopping. Enter the home from either the side or the front doors. Ample living space for at least 4-6 guests. All bedrooms are located on the second floor. Dining room, living room, stairs and hallway are carpeted. Shower walls have grab bars to assist guests who may have mobility issues. A bedside commode, shower seat, wheelchair, toilet seat riser, canes, fold-out queen bed with queen sized air mattress, crib, stroller and a card table with chairs are available upon request, at no additional charge. There are board games available. There is a coin operated laundromat located at the corner of our street. We have ample linens and guest toiletries available. Kitchen linens and dish liquid also available in the full kitchen. There is also a wheelchair ramp off of the front porch. Air conditioning via upstairs window units. There is no guest access to either the attic or basement. The 1st and 2nd floors are all yours. I am available most days after 12 P.M. for any questions, directions or any other information you may need. The neighborhood is comprised mostly of senior citizens, many whom have lived on the street longer than the 57 years I have lived here. The home is part of an urban residential neighborhood that was originally built out in the 1920s - 1930s and includes a wide variety of residential units including 2 family homes. The street is pretty quiet during the winter months, as children are not playing outside, but there may be noise from snowblowers. During the spring, summer and fall, guests may experience outside noise due to an uptick of construction jobs, lawnmowers, trains, airplanes flying overhead, sirens on the main road, children playing outside and a couple of motorcycle owners, within the neighborhood. There is currently a trend for redevelopment. I worship at nearby Providence Baptist Church. There are a couple of nearby grocers: Simon's and Dave's Supermarkets. Our local Farmers Market is open in nearby Shaker Square thru December. There is a bus stop on the main street, which goes directly downtown and/or over to the train at Shaker Square. There is no cable TV.
