The entire lower level is private for your use as our guests. No one else will access this area so feel free to relax in all the rooms. A large, comfortable, king sized bed, private bath, family room, and game room give you space to relax. Game room includes refrigerator, microwave, and eating places. Only minutes from much of the action of our city. Fresh country air, star filled night sky, even a campfire pit is available, just ask. The large bedroom feels cozy and welcoming for up to 2 guests. There are games available, a dart board, dining table, counter/bar seating. The entire lower level of our home is your private space. No one else will access this downstairs level while you are here. Sorry, we aren't set up for children beyond non-walking infants. Plan your arrival after 11 am. You will enjoy a large, private bedroom and bath as well as living area, TV, eating area with a refrigerator and microwave, all for our guests in the lower level of our home. Enjoy three acres of outdoor space, including fire pit, deck and yard play. Let us know if you want a fire burning. Campfire chats are a great way to end the day. We have yard games to share. We welcome interaction with our guests and always enjoy getting acquainted with a coffee chat out on the deck or by the fireplace. You will stay in the lower level of our home, completely private just for you. We will be home during your stay here. We live on 3 acres, in a country setting, on the edge of the city of Mankato MN. It's a great place to relax. The roads past our home are perfect for a long walk in the morning sunshine or a great run for the athletic type. Bicycle paths are nearby and connect to an awesome network of bicycle paths. Maybe you would enjoy a campfire chat at the end of the evening or sitting out on the deck enjoying the beautiful night sky. You will need a vehicle, since we are not in the city limits for public transportation. Uber and Lyft are available. A bicycle will do! Bicyclists will enjoy the area since it is a "bicycle friendly" city with many miles of beautiful trail riding. The famous Mall of America in Bloomington MN is less than 90 minutes away! Minneapolis/St Paul International Airport is 90 minutes away. Uber and Lyft available to the MSP airport as well as Landline Bus Service (. a great option and inexpensive) to the Minneapolis airport. The Mankato Regional Airport is a public airport located five miles (8 km) northeast of the central business district of Mankato, a city in Blue Earth County, Minnesota, United States. This airport is publicly owned by City of Mankato.[1] The airport is home to Northstar Aviation and Minnesota State University's flight training program. Mankato is in the TOP 5 among the best small cities to live in America. Mankato is a hub for bike trails, arts, entertainment, shopping and nightlife. Bicycle trails are abundant and offering beautiful scenery across the region of south central Minnesota. We even have a growing herd of Bison to see, a unique experience. Lots of new babies in the spring.
