PLEASE NOTE: This is a PRIVATE, but simple bedroom! Two other bedrooms may have guests as well. Spanne House (historic home/museum) and Solvang Brewing Company (Restaurant) are both a short walk from here. Great hiking trails, skydiving and the most restored California Mission are all a short drive. I was born and raised here in (Website hidden by Airbnb) fact this was my grandmother's house! I'm happy to answer any questions you may have, or make recommendations. Enjoy your stay! Please note that deposit will not be charged unless items are missing/broken, or if your a long term stay (29 or more days) there is a $30 non refundable toiletry restock fee. This home was built in the 50's. It belonged to my grandmother, and I recently purchased it. It's larger than it looks from the outside, and has beautiful hardwood floors through most of the common spaces. It has off-street parking around the back. The space has been arranged with both my son and me in mind, and is very child-friendly. Yes, there's a swing in the living room! My home is walking distance to the Solvang Brewing Company (restaurant), old town Lompoc, and the Spanne House. A short drive to local spots like La Purisima Mission, Lompoc's famous Wine Ghetto, many murals throughout town, a hike/bike trail along the Santa Ynez River, sky diving, beautiful flower fields...lots to do here! This home is close to ALL Lompoc attractions and is a short drive to beaches such as Jalama and Gaviota (about 25-30 minutes), or El Capitan and Refugio (about 35-40 minutes). The bed is actually a CAL-KING, so it's really good sized. You could squeeze an extra body in if so inclined. This particular room is quirky, but I like it! It's the quietest in the house and the window opens to the indoor patio/play room. Kitchen, refrigerator, washer, dryer, dining room, patio with TV, and DVD/BluRay players. Lots of my sons toys too! Use musical instruments with care and consideration of other guests. The "atrium" is a great space for working out, depending on your tastes. You'll know it by the HUGE mirror! Front and back yards available too. Parking on street is fine, plus parking in alley. If I'm home, I'm happy to chat with you or give you your space. I work and go to school, so I'm not home much. You can reach me via messaging. If I'm in class, I'll have to get to your message after. I love that I'm centrally located to just about everything in town. Everything is within walking distance (if you don't mind walking) or a short drive, if you prefer. The hardwood floors are beautiful and I'm pretty fond of my evolving "atrium," which is great for yoga, dancing, and playing with my son. If you bring a bike, everything is easily within biking distance. It takes me about 5 minutes or less to drive anywhere in Lompoc. 3 Guest maximum, not including children. Visitors require pryor approval. 1 Vehicle maximum. Parking shall be on the lot, not on the street. Quiet time between 10 p.m. - 8 a.m. Happy to give you any information I can on local attractions such as Mission Days in March, or Candlelight Tours at the Mission in October. There is also a Flower Festival in June, complete with parade! Dining recommendations are also available! My young son lives here...the house is very child friendly...hopefully you are too! :) This home is not suitable for cats, rodents and some other pets. Dogs ok. You should know that there is one dog living on the property...Bullet. He's friendly and as well behaved as you expect him to be. Extra linens and first aid items (limited) are in the small closet near the blue bathroom.
