This 1880's Historic Riverside Tavern was completely remodeled in 2017, maintaining as much of the original woodwork and character as possible. The Village of Kohler moved the building to its' current location in 1908 - eventually closing the tavern to establish the Kohler Women's Club in the 1920s. It opened with a tea room on the first floor as well as the upstairs being home to the original Kohler Girl Scouts. This 1200 square foot unit has a New York loft feel with light pouring in from all four sides. The historic feel was preserved by restoring the original hemlock flooring and repairing the exposed brick chimney. Mixes of antique and modern elements make this open concept floor plan feel like home. It is a very short drive some of the best golf in the Midwest, home to several PGA Championships and soon the 2020 Ryder Cup. Nearly everything is within walking distance: restaurants, shops, the market, the Sports Core and more. Blackwolf Run Golf course is a 2-3 minute drive and Whistling Straits Golf Course is about a 10 minute drive on the country back roads.
