Cozy Catskills Cottage Near Woodstock & Hiking

Our cozy mid-century cottage is located just two hours from NYC in the heart of the Catskills with local favorites like Bread Alone, Phoenicia Diner, Woodstock Brewing and The Pines all within ten minutes. Hit the slopes at Belleayre (25 minutes) or Hunter (35minutes), fish or hike, then grab some dinner in nearby Woodstock and come home to warm up next to the wood burning stove. Perfect for couples or small families. Our cottage is a two bedroom, one bath with a full kitchen, living room, and dining area. Outside you'll have access to a lawn and a private deck. Inside the house, you'll find everything you need including laundry, strong WiFi, a TV with Neflix, Direct TV Stream, HBO, Disney+, books, records, games and more. There is a public pool in the park across the street. Summer 2022 hours and pricing have not been released yet. Guests have access to the private deck and front lawn. We will always be available via the app. Occasionally we may be staying in the other house on the property but we'll be out of your way. Enjoy the quiet relaxation of the Catskills with tons to do nearby: Lester Davis Park (just across the street), Bread Alone for breakfast/coffee 5 minutes away , a 10 minute drive to the Phoenicia Diner and Woodstock Brewing, 20 minutes into Woodstock, 30 minutes to skiing at Hunter Mountain and Bellyare etc You'll need a car when you're here, but you can take a bus to nearby Phoenicia (ten minutes away) or Woodstock (20 minutes away). Amtrak will get you to Rhinecliff (40 minutes away), and Metro North to Poughkeepsie (60 minutes away). Although we are pet-friendly, we cannot allow cats due to severe allergies in our family. Please note that while the cottage is a private house with a private deck and your own yard to use, there are two houses on the property and they are relatively close together. The hosts live in the other house. (See pictures in listing) While the water is safe to drink it is well water and can smell sulfuric. The area is relatively quiet but there is a park across the street so there is the occasional noise from the park. Due to occupancy restrictions we can not allow more than four people per stay, including infants. Please note there is a Ring camera on the front of the cottage that may be recording the front yard/driveway.
