This nicely decorated home is the perfect place to relax & unwind. We are located on a sleepy street backing onto Turkey Creek and nature trails. Enjoy a glass of wine around the campfire, lay in the hammock, or wander outside the yard along the creek, as you keep a lookout for deer and an assortment of other wildlife - all the while being within walking distance from shops and restaurants to meet all of your needs. Your home-away-from-home's decor is cottagey with a contemporary flair. It features 3 themed-bedrooms for up to 6 guests - London, Paris, New York City. The third bedroom can be set up as either a single daybed or king-sized arrangement. You will also have a complete modern bathroom with full-sized bathtub and shower, two living rooms, and a dining room, as well as laundry facilities. The kitchen is completely redesigned with a breakfast bar, new appliances, and all cooking necessities. If you prefer, a natural gas barbecue sits just outside the back door on the patio with a comfortable conversation set for you to sit and visit while grilling. You can spend your time relaxing by the fire - inside or out; you could also read a book, watch a movie, play cards or a board game, or try your hand at a puzzle. If you are in need of anything or have any questions, we are available around the clock by email or text. While on the edge of Windsor, Ontario, and minutes from Detroit by both bridge & tunnel - you will forget that you are literally around the corner from civilization as you enjoy the quiet natural environment surrounding you. You are within walking distance from coffee shops, grocery stores, dollar stores and the liquor store; as well as the public library, drug stores, and many restaurant options - both fast food and casual dining. If golf is your thing, we have several golf courses nearby: Ambassador Golf Club, Seven Lakes Golf Course, Sutton Creek Golf Club, Fox Glen Golf Club, and Roseland Golf and Curling Club. Essex Golf and Country Club is a private club - also very close, if you are coming in to watch a tournament. If you are looking for shopping options, we are a few minutes drive to both Windsor Crossings Outlet Mall and Devonshire Mall. There are many great tourism options within close proximity, such as exploring EPIC wine country and local craft breweries, travelling back in time at Historic Fort Malden, bird-watching in Point Pelee National Park or our local Ojibway Prairie Nature Reserve, or checking out numerous cultural, dining and sporting options in our bordering city - Detroit, Michigan. Our location is a minute walk from a Transit Windsor bus stop for public transit throughout Lasalle and Windsor. We are also a short drive from the Greyhound bus station, Windsor International Airport and the VIA Rail train station.
