The Mary Beale Suite - Private Entrance and Bath

Welcome to the Mary Beale Suite at the Nathaniel Inn, complete with private entrance, full luxury bath, coffee bar, high speed internet and even a desk overlooking the yard! Located on Main St in Gordonsville, about 30 mins to Charlottesville, Va. and Shenandoah National Park you'll have easy access to nearby wineries, breweries and historic sites. The Mary Beale suite is named after Gordonsville's early visionaries seeking to establish residential lots along Main St in the 1800s. The suite is part of a three unit vacation rental called the Nathaniel Inn, our historic home (circa 1874) in the town of Gordonsville, just 30 mins north of Charlottesville. We also have a detached cottage for rent, called the Gordon Cottage. The two properties make up the Nathaniel Inn. All of these rentals are available separately or you can rent them all together if traveling with a large group. This suite is composed of a king bedroom, luxury bathroom and sitting area with a coffee bar. We want your stay to be as pleasant as possible so please let us know how we're doing. The suite has been thoughtfully redesigned with your comfort in mind. The king bedroom is luxuriously appointed and the en-suite bathroom is set up to accommodate two with a double sink and spacious floor plan. We have a digital key lock for easy entry through the front door off Main St. and there is a second optional entrance from the backyard through the optionally shared mudroom. There is a coffee bar set up with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. We provide all the touches you would expect in a hotel including morning coffee, bathroom toiletries, plush towels and comfort plus mattresses. We are committed to our safety and yours during this global pandemic. We have implemented heightened cleaning and sanitation practices. To do this we: - sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob - use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination - clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists - provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay - comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines - use single use gloves and masks when cleaning to prevent cross contamination - due to our commitment and increased cleaning times, we are unable to accommodate early check-ins, sorry for the inconvenience. -we are fully inspected and licensed by the Health Department The front porch has two front doors each to one of our suites (separated by over 6 ft) and seats in front of this suite are for your enjoyment. Our other two suites are attached to the ground floor of our house, but have their own private entrances and amenities. They are attached through the mudroom at the rear of the house. My husband and I live just a few miles away and are available as little or as much as you need during your stay. We have lots of recommendation for area attractions and restaurants. The suite is a 10 min walk from the shops and restaurants in Gordonsville. Many shops and restaurants are offering take out, curbside pick up and entertaining shoppers by appointment or a low occupancy, do some window shopping and the shop keepers post their changing hours frequently. Enjoy your morning coffee at Krecek Kakes (patio is open), lunch at BBQExchange (for take out) and dinner at the french restaurant Rochambeau (hours TBD right now) or Well Hung Winery (patio is open). In between, enjoy the shops along Main St that include antiques, clothing and jewelry. Of course you can get in the car and drive to any of the great nearby sites in the Charlottesville area. There is plenty of parking on right on Main St right in front of the suite. Walk up the steps to the left side front door to the suite.
