Island living is a special treat. You are looking over Lowell's Cove in a serene, mature oasis, with an easy stroll to the shore. Local restaurants like Morse's Seafood Grill and Cook's Lobster House are a short drive on Bailey Island. Visit Land's End Gift Shop, too! On the Harpswell Neck side, The Dolphin Restaurant is wonderful and worth the short drive. Whale Watch Road has a special history for it's name. A whale, named Lowell, took up residence in the cove for a summer drawing thousands of visitors from all over. My father had a perfect view, and Lowell kept him entranced on full moon nights, jumping and falling into the water. I have a painting in the living in honor of Lowell. Harpswell Islands are connected to Brunswick by bridges so it is an easy drive. When you arrive, park in the driveway and enter from the back porch door. Lights will come on automatically to light your way. You will have the house to yourself with the exception of my massage room. I do not see clients while I have house guest. Massage is available during your stay as schedules allow. Please do not enter this room unless you are receiving a session from me. Thank You. Whale Watch is safe harbor. I will leave the door unlocked for your easy check-in. The key will be left on the table and when you leave, place it back there with the door unlocked, please. The neighborhood is mature, older folks who enjoy the tranquility. Please be mindful of the quiet and peacefulness of the area. The shore is just a short walk and there is a small beach for swimming. There is a small General Store on Bailey Island, but you may want to pick up a few groceries in Brunswick before heading to the Island. There is a Shaw's Grocery Store at Cook's Corner. Also, there are no gas stations on the Island. Fill your tank before you leave Brunswick to be safe. *Water is a precious resource on the Islands. PLEASE do not waste it. We are experiencing a drought and wells can go dry if you are not conserving. Thank you!
