Welcome! Due to Covid 19, I am requiring all individuals who book a reservation to be fully vaccinated. My home is nestled in Glens Falls, walking distance to fine dining, museums, and original theater! Enjoy a fresh continental breakfast daily, and use of the first floor living area. The back patio is marvelous for coffee Lawton Avenue ends at the Adirondack Bike Path...marvelous for bicyclists. My 2 cats, Jack & Diane and I look forward to meeting you!! Thanks, Mary Ellen I purchased this Craftsman home, built in 1925, then renovated it from the studs out. Everything in the house is brand spanking new! Please enjoy the open living space on the ground floor. the front porch is furnished and perfect sit and read the paper, have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and say hello to the locals. Or read the paper on the back patio and be entertained by the neighborhood squirrels. Coffee is available 24/7. You can make yourself at home. This is a non-smoking house. I live with my 2 cats, Jack and Diane, so, please bear this in mind if you have any allergies. I'm also the "chief pie baker" for Auntie Mame's Pies, so, there's usually something coming out of the oven for you to taste test if you decide you'd like to. I am asking my guests to please be vaccinated. If you're not, then please look for other accommodations...I'm a 3 time cancer survivor and can't afford the exposure. Thanks in advance for your kind consideration. Lawton Avenue is a treasure in Glens Falls. A quiet tree lined street that dead ends into the Adirondack Bike Path that starts in Lake George and goes all the way to the Champlain canal locks in Fort Edward..phenominal photo opportunities. The homes are all well kept Craftsman or Colonial homes, and the street is quiet. I personally love sitting on the back deck in the morning with the paper and a cup of coffee..the squirrels are very entertaining at this time of day. You are walking distance from downtown Glens Falls. 9 miles south of Lake George, 20 miles north of Saratoga, and 15 miles west of Vermont. It's only an hours drive to Dorset and Manchester Vermont, some of the most spectacular fruit picking and tree peeping in the world. Glens Falls truly IS the hidden gem in Upstate New York...We're home to the World renowned Hyde Museum with spectacular masterpieces never seen before, the Chapman Museum, chronicling the rich history of Glens Falls founding, industry and society. Fine dining is excellent here with Morgan Co, Craft on 9, Farmacy, and Raul's to name a few. As well as the reopened Coopers Cave Brew House (people come from all over the US to sample their special beers). Lake George is resplendent with great events every weekend, and the Lake is spectacular. For the "leaf Peepers"...you couldn't find a more beautiful area for your enjoyment and photographing...and of course, the racing season in Saratoga is only 15 minutes away. Hospitality defines Glens Falls...looking forward to welcoming you!!!
