Lakefront Family-Friendly Mid-Michigan Home

Walk out the door and you're right on beautiful Stevenson Lake. This house is truly lakefront with no steps to walk down. Conveniently located just south of Clare and 20 minutes north of Mt. Pleasant. Stevenson Lake is a great lake for fishing, tubing, swimming, kayaking or just floating. At night enjoy a fire in your own fire pit. Play darts, yard games, fish from the dock or grill out. It's all there for our guests to enjoy. We love our little piece of heaven in Mid-Michigan. Fully equipped and renovated house on Stevenson Lake near Clare, Michigan. Enjoy the two bedroom house and one bedroom in the back of the garage with sleeping spaces for seven. There's plenty of additional room in the sun room and living room for air mattresses and sleeping bags. The kitchen comes complete with stove, oven, large refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender, pots, pans, and dishes. There is a dock, canoe, kayak and paddle boat for extra fun on the lake. Direct TV, games, puzzles and a dart board are also there for your entertainment. Guests have the entire house, garage, large yard, patio, beach area, dock and lake! There are 3 bikes available for rent (adult men's, adult woman's and youth sizes) - $50 for the week. If interested, please message us. A property manager is available if there happens to be a problem or emergency. Stevenson Lake is just south of Clare, Michigan. It is a small, peaceful lake in the middle of farm country. You cannot hear any traffic, just birds and crickets. Clare is a small town where the famous Cop and Doughnuts Bakery is located. There is a quaint downtown area with shops, banks, coffee places, bars and restaurants. On the north end of town you will find all the fast food restaurants, Big Boy, and a bit further is Jay's Sporting Goods. The local grocery store has all the items you will need. This area of Michigan is also home to many Amish families. You will find their baked goods at Cops and Doughnuts, their baskets and art work at various shops and they also make furniture both for inside and out. You will see people from this community all over town. Please be careful not to run into their horse and buggies when in town. Mt. Pleasant, Michigan is south of the Lakehouse and is home to Central Michigan University. The city also has any store, restaurant, or service you might need or want. *You will need a vehicle if renting this property. The main mode of transportation is a car. Feel free to bring your bikes because the roads are mainly flat and there is a lot of country road to cover. Of course if you have a boat, you may bring it because there is a boat launch right across from the house and you can tie it up at the dock right in front of the house. Clare is 10 minutes north of the property and Mt. Pleasant is 20-30 minutes south. Please note that smoking is not allowed in the house at any time. There are ashtrays available inside the garage that can be used for smoking outside.
