Riverview Loft Guesthouse

Quaint and cozy little haven located in a small community with panoramic view of the Mississippi River from your balcony. This small but charming property has a private entrance and everything you need to be comfortable including kitchen essentials. Close to shopping, parks, public pool, scenic hiking trails and fishing. The loft has a deck with the best view in town of the Mississippi River. You can see the lock and dam and watch the boats and barges go up and down the river all day long. It’s a view you won’t forget. If you want you can cross the street to the walk way and walk down to the river and walk in the sand. I let my guest known that they can text me any time. I will always be there if they need anything. I like to leave them notes to help them with there stay. I always have a treat for them when they arrive. The neighborhood is we’re I grew up. The house next door was my family home. We are in the process of restoring the house to the regional look of when my great grandfather lived there 100 years ago.When were done it will be a vacation home for guest to book. Hope to be done by next year. There Vehicles can be parked on the backside of the loft next to the camper. They can also park on the main street if there’s not a snow emergency or on Thursday for they sweep the streets on Friday mornings. Getting around in town is easy there’s a walkway that goes all the way through the whole entire town and plenty of places to park in the business district. All you need is bring your food and personals and everything else is there. I have supplied everything that I could think of to make your stay better.Just a note to let you know that we do not have a bridge that crosses the river. To go to Galena Illinois you need to travel to Dubuque Iowa to cross the bridge it’s 25 miles from our loft to Dubuque and another 30 miles to Galena.
