Just 3 year young, our newly built country cabin is the perfect 'home-base' as you enjoy ALL southeastern Ohio has to offer. Looking for that quite get-a-way cabin in the woods? Secluded enough to offer a private moment in the beauty of nature yet close enough to the city for a night on the town? Or how about a day at Seneca Lake? Sun and sand always a favorite.. Look no further! Set on over 20 beautiful acres our home and property have just about everything you could ask for! Outdoors you will find a full wrap around porch, a gas grill, a 25 foot fire pit, a walking road and plenty of places to get outdoors. This serene setting is just perfect for that peaceful get-away in the country. If you are feeling the camping itch, we can help with that too! Our secluded yet open front yard has plenty of places to pitch a tent to enjoy a night 'under the stars'. Maybe you are looking for a day antiquing or even a night on the town? The quaint city of Cambridge is just 10 minutes away. Cambridge offers many antique shops, delicious bakeries and home town restaurants. In the month of December the Charles Dickens walk coupled with the holiday light displays in downtown Cambridge is a must see! If your preference is a day at the beach we are just 8 minutes from Seneca Lake. Seneca Lake Marina has daily boat rentals and a full service restaurant. Seneca Lake also offers a public beach. You can access the beach via car or if you rent a boat from the marina, the beach has free public docks where you can park the boat and go ashore for an afternoon in the sand and sun! We are also in close proximity to The Wilds (20 minutes) and gambling in Wheeling, WVA is just a 40 minute drive. Once your day is complete and you are ready to relax, step inside the cabin for some needed downtime and chill out in the cabin that is complete with central air conditioning and huge overhead fans that hang from the vaulted cedar-planked ceiling. Inside this newly built cabin you will find a fully functional kitchen complete with microwave, range full refrigerator and eating island. The kitchen is open to the great space that includes a full sized pool table and 2 couches. Also on the first floor you will find a brand new full bathroom, bedroom with queen sized bed and a laundry/mudroom area with a new washer and dryer. Upstairs in the open vaulted loft you will find 2 queen sleeper sofas and a gaming table. This beautiful cabin get-away is perfect for those looking for a clean, comfortable wooded setting with virtually all the modern comforts you can imagine.
