385 sq ft Tiny Home. Beautifully furnished and fully equipped. Family and dog friendly. Community fire pit and local beers, wines and/or cider available on site. 200 ft from Kilchis Point, 200 yards from Tillamook Bay, 2 acres to play on. 10 minutes from deGarde Brewing or Pelican Pub Taproom, 5 minutes from Garibaldi Marina. Hiking, beachcombing, clamming, crabbing, fishing nearby. Breakfast basket provided each day. We are your Tiny Home away from home. Come Play! The Village at Sheltered Nook is a village of Tiny Homes. Each Tiny Home is 385 sq ft with a master bedroom with queen bed, sleeping loft with two queen beds, full bath, full kitchen, living room and covered porch. Each tiny home is fully equipped and beautifully furnished. Homes are fully equipped with all conveniences including flat screen TV and Smart DVD player. Board Games and puzzles are available at the office for use by Guests. We are family and pet friendly. On site is a community fire pit, Corn Hole, Tiki Toss, Spikeball, Beersbee (other yard games coming as discovered) and picnic tables. Our guests are invited to take part is all activities available at the Village. We have an outside pet bath (with hot water) and dog towels available for our guests who are sharing their vacation with their 4 legged companion. We are located 200 feet from Kilchis Point Reserve which provides guests with 2.5 miles of walking/running trails and 200 yards from Tillamook Bay. Hosts are available to assist guests with any questions they may have concerning their Tiny Home or their stay at on the Coast. We want to provide a memorable experience and provide a home away from home. Hank and Dee are fully familiar with the North Oregon Coast and love to share their knowledge. We love to sit around the campfire (weather permitting) with a glass of wine or local beer and share our guests' experiences. We are always available in person or via cell phone to help plan a special surprise or excursion. Sheltered Nook is located West of Highway 101 in the area called "Goose Point". It is not quite the typical beach community. It is a neighborhood that is in transition. It is very safe but somewhat funky. Across the street from Sheltered Nook is a Garage and sometimes there are cars hanging around on the street waiting for service. Everyone in the area is friendly. Sheltered Nook hidden down a 200 foot driveway and is private and comfortable. 400 feet from the Village is Kilchis Point Reserve. This is an area where our guests will find beautiful trails for a leisurely walk with signs explaining for history of the Goose Point and Tillamook area or a good hike to Tillamook Bay. 200 yards from the Village is Tillamook Bay. Across the Bay you can see BayOcean spit. BayOcean spit is a wonderful place for secluded beach time or a run, walk of bike ride. Bay City is less then a mile away. Garibaldi is 4 miles north and Tillamook is 4 miles South. Tillamook Cheese Factory is 3 miles to the South. The Village is located within minutes of 5 beautiful rivers, all with boat launches. If you are looking for a pub crawl, DeGarde Brewery and Pelican Pub Brewery and Tap Room are a quick 5 miles south in Tillamook. Bay City is centrally located between Astoria and Newport. Astoria is approximately 1.5 hours North and Newport is 2 hours to the South. You can see it all and stay at the Village at Sheltered Nook. The Wave is our local bus line. It runs from Tillamook north to Cannon Beach and south to Lincoln City. Twice daily The Wave travels to Portland. The Wave is part of the Coastal Connector system -- Leave your car and take the bus and your bike. Kenny G's is the local taxi service. Sleeping loft has a low ceiling. Local beers (on tap), wine and cider are available in the office. We live in a rural setting. We do have bus service, however, a car is necessary if you want to see the area. Tiny home has a 20 gal water heater which equates to a 10 min shower.
