We live around the corner; happy to offer suggestions from Amish Country to Cleveland! 10min to Airport. This little property first caught our eye over 15 years ago. We went on to learn a few stories - it was moved here back in the day and it was the summer house to our home next door; it piqued our interest! The previous owner used it as a "storage unit". It was a bit like an old hunting cabin - no kitchen, no toilet, sad carpet. It was a diamond in the rough. From sagging ceilings to original hardwood floors, it screamed potential. Buying the property in December 2016 meant a new chapter. Design sketches led to major renovation. Passionate about reviving old structures, we love the Corbel House and feel grateful you're here for part of the journey! This house is dedicated purely to friends like you. You have total access to a private stand-alone guest house. The entire space is yours to enjoy. Feel free to use the large backyard as well! I look forward to meeting our guests upon arrival - to say hello and get acquainted with the house, though self check in is available too! We’re flexible and want you to enjoy your experience, your way. Happy to host you & give you all the inside information about our area—recommendations for places to eat, things to do, stores, downtown, etc. We are a text or phone call away if you need anything or have questions during your stay. *In consideration of COVID-19, we've made some modifications to our check in procedure, to ensure safety and social distancing, being mindful of your comfort in your home away from home! Uber and Lyft are available all throughout our area for traveling here and there. Door Dash and Uber Eats make food deliveries from eateries and restaurants all around - LOTS of amazing options for delicious meals - perfect for foodies! We welcome everyone equally. Check-in time is 2pm; check-out is 11am. The house has two entrances and a back yard; it is not wheelchair accessible. The bathroom is fully stocked with toilet paper, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, baby shampoo/body wash, and other toiletries. Our guest house is extremely clean, free of any clutter and is pet and smoke free. The property has a full kitchen with a fridge, an oven for baking as well as a microwave, toaster, and tea kettle. The coffee bar includes a French Press, freshly ground Starbucks coffee, a Keurig coffee maker with a selection of Starbucks K-cups, fresh creamer, variety of teas, and seasonal hot chocolate mix. A wine bottle opener and wine glasses are also available. There is a private driveway directly adjacent to the house. No parking on the grass. Master bedroom has a queen bed; bedroom 2 has two twin beds; we also have a 16" raised height Serta Perfect Sleeper Queen sized air mattress (plug in to the wall to inflate/deflate). Total of 6 sleeping spaces in the house. (We have an additional high-quality air mattress available if you have more than 6 people.) We also have a twin Pack-n-Play with removable twin bassinets for little ones. Bottled water is in the refrigerator. Dish drying rack is located under the sink – it can be placed on a hand towel on the counter or laid across the sink for use. All guests are responsible for properly washing their dirty dishes, cups, cutlery, etc. Iron and ironing board are in the upstairs full closet (please put back after use). Recyclables can be placed in the small black trash can in the kitchen, and trash is collected on a regular basis. Full bags can be placed in the black trash bin on the side of the house. Phone chargers for Apple and Android cell phones are available for use: located in the drawer to the left of the stove. In town for business? The large coffee bar and dining room table offer a spacious work environment and the Wifi is fast. The UPS store and Post Office are both nearby, in the same complex, just two miles down the road, for all shipping and business related needs. We are always happy to accommodate an early check-in or a late check-out if our calendar allows for it! We aren't able to verify if we will be able to meet this request until we are closer to the date of your arrival- within the week most likely. However, we totally understand that flight travel times can be odd & inconvenient, so at the very least we are happy to store your bags for you until your check-in time at 2pm or until 1:30pm on the day of checkout.
