In the Canopy (beautiful Brookfield/Milwaukee)

Relax "in the Canopy" of beautiful maples! If you're looking for party central…this isn't it. But if you want a comfortable place in a tree-filled neighborhood, just a few minutes from all the best Milwaukee has to offer, you're in luck! Perfect location for quick access to the city, or to Lake Country to the west. Quiet, comfortable, safe, surrounded by beautiful gardens. We're in a perfect launching spot to visit Summerfest, Brewers/Bucks games, or Milwaukee's western suburbs. Bring the kids! "In the Canopy" is a full two-bedroom upper flat with a spacious living room, full kitchen, one bathroom. There's a queen bed in the Birch Room, and a split king bed (can separate to two twins) in the Prairie Room. Your hosts live in the first floor below, and are available as needed. The upper flat is ideal for 4 people. More can be accommodated with four twin beds in a nice basement bedroom (although you'd have to share the single bathroom upstairs). Fast WiFi, ample parking, high chair & booster seats, Pack-n-Play for the wee ones, TV, BlueRay, dishwasher, basement laundry, books, toys, puzzles, games, DVDs. No smoking, no pets or animals…no exceptions. We're not animal haters, but just need to take good care our property so it stays beautiful for our guests! We clean to Airbnb’s COVID requirements. You'll have a spacious upper flat all to yourselves. Shared basement laundry room. Extra beds in nice basement bedroom if needed. Shared, enclosed stairway. We, the owners, live on premises in the lower flat. We share an indoor stairway, but you'll have the whole upper flat to yourselves. You can lock the door to the upper flat and extra basement bedroom. We're happy to answer a hundred questions, or leave you alone and stay out of your way...your choice! We love to give recommendations about everything Milwaukee. We've tried most pizzerias, breakfast places, brew pubs, entertainment experiences, every trail (you get the idea). We can give you inside tips on where to park for events, and what's overrated/underrated in the online guides. We get pretty excited about this place! We want you to have a great time in Milwaukee, and appreciate your understanding that we have good neighbors and want to keep it that way! We're a safe, wooded suburb with easy highway access to the city. If you don't want to travel downtown, there are many great restaurants and experiences right here in Brookfield! Bountiful shopping options nearby. We live on-premises, in the lower flat. A 15-minute drive eastward gets you to the heart of Milwaukee. Enjoy Summerfest, a lively city park lakefront, the Harley Museum, Harley events, the Brewers, Bucks, Marquette, River Walk, Milwaukee Art Museum, a ridiculously vibrant restaurant and craft brewery scene, concerts at the Fiserv Forum or Miller Park, ballet, theater, the fantastic Milwaukee Zoo, and more! A 20-minute drive westward has you in Lake Country—beautiful rolling, wooded hills and your choice of many pristine lakes. Great trails starting at our front yard for walking, hiking, biking. If you're a golfer, we're a 40-minute drive from Erin Hills, site of the 2017 U.S. Open, and just over an hour drive from Whistling Straights—arguably the greatest championship course in the USA—and the golf mecca of Destination Kohler. We're also home to some incredible local courses! We're near the Pettit National Ice Center, where our Olympians train. We're less than 1.5 hours from Camp Randall, home of the Badgers, and less than 2 hours from Lambeau Field, home of the Packers. If you are over 6 ft. tall, the tub-shower has a pitched ceiling that will make you bend over a bit!
