Mystic Idyll

Enjoy a beautiful quiet break after your busy day exploring all that Mystic has to offer, two minutes by car or a pleasant 15 minute walk from the heart of downtown. Your home-away-from home has a fully equipped kitchen so you can boil up your lobster and toss a salad with the fresh produce you picked up. Sit on the porch, sip your wine, relax and enjoy sunset in the garden. You will be greeted by birdsong in the morning as you drink coffee and ponder relocating here. A true vacation! The apartment is attached to the main house but separate and private. It is bright, sunny and comfortable. It is best for a single or couple but a creative couple could also accommodate a child or two. Certainly better for a family than a motel room! There are Adirondack chairs in the yard. Feel free to hang out in the front and side yard. One of us will be available for help or problems. If you would like information or ideas we would be delighted to share our insider tips to the area; if you would prefer privacy we will give you your space. Irving Street is a friendly residential neighborhood where people walk their dogs, jog, bike and love to stop and chat. It is highly walk-able, with nearby stately Victorian houses and gardens, and waterfront neighborhood Willow Point.Beebe Pond Nature Preserve 2 blocks away. Downtown Mystic has fantastic shops, restaurants and frequent activities, just a 15 minute walk. It is an easy and scenic walk to downtown (0.8 miles to Sift Bakeshop, 1 mile to Drawbridge) and to Mystic Seaport beyond that. It is three minutes by car. Seasonal water views All are welcome here!!!
