'The Little House' Bucks County/Doylestown/NewHope

Our tranquil little house is a relaxing retreat surrounded by nature. It is walking distance to Lake Nockamixon and a riding stable. It is a charming one room cottage with bathroom and is only 5 mins to shops and close to great restaurants, boat rentals and Lake Galena. This is a beautiful antique cottage, originally a local vet! It was moved to our property in the 50's and has been a quaint guest room for us which friends and family have loved to stay in for the last 15 yrs. Musicians and writers are very welcome here! You may use our pool, bikes, tree house and outdoor bbq by request, and at your own risk. We ask you to be respectful, clean and peaceful during your stay. We will be happy to leave you alone to enjoy your time here, but we love to meet new people and tell you all about the local area and many many things to do and great places to visit and eat! It's up to you don't hesitate to ask! We are a short walk to the Lake house Inn if you are going to a wedding there. Walking up to lake Nockamixon, renting a boat or going for a ride are super easy. We even have a nest of eagles within walking distance and an odd wild turkey, turtle or deer may pass through the garden on occasion too. We love to get the best ice cream from Ow Wow Cow, enjoy a fabulous breakfast or lunch at Nellie Raes or stroll along the canal. We have a great little theatre nearby in Sellersville with some surprising bands and artists making appearances. Doylestown, New Hope and Perkasie with their quaint little shops , farmers markets, bars and restaurants are super close. We are located in the heart of beautiful Bucks County, 1hr 40 mins from NYC and about 50 mins from Philadelphia. There is not convenient transport here as we are not in town. You will need a car! There are also a few Uber and Lyft around. Additional fee and terms if you wish to bring a pet. Please ask as this can only be accommodated by prior arrangement.
