3rd Street Nest Bed & Breakfast

The Garden Room is located upstairs at the front of the house with a queen bed and detached private bath. It has a TV, small refrigerator and a lovely clawfoot tub available for soaking with bath salts. If that is not your thing there is also a walk-in shower. Also furnished are drinks, an evening snack and a hot breakfast every morning. 3rd Street Nest Bed & Breakfast has been in operation for over 16 years! The owner is knowledgeable about accommodation needs and the local area. Both available areas are fully furnished and well equipped! The Garden Room has a clawfoot tub/walk-in shower in the private bathroom area. It is equipped with bathrobes, curling iron/blow dryer, bottled water and soft drinks. A snack is also provided. A full hot breakfast is available every morning. The outdoor area has a covered front porch and large back deck. The yard is full of flowers, shrubs, fountain and trees. A joy to behold. I have always enjoyed meeting and visiting with my guests. I live in the Bed and Breakfast and will be present, unless I tell them otherwise. The neighborhood is rich with 1908 character and is easily accessible to downtown. Our beautiful park is within walking distance and there are also easily accessible bike trails. The Nest is only 2 blocks from the shopping area in Lamar and numerous restaurants. Lamar has a PAT transit system available during the day time hours. A call is all that is needed. I'm available for transport from the airport and the train depot (only 3 blks away). Come and "perch a while" and enjoy Lamar and our surrounding areas of history and birding!
