There is a gas BBQ under cover, just outside the kitchen. Fishing, hiking, biking, rafting and kayaking, boating on local lakes and reservoirs, skiing at Hoodoo resort. There are many places to explore in this area and we are still discovering new spots all the time. We won't be around at the same time as our guests, but we work with locals who can help if needed. The house is in the Willamette National Forest in the McKenzie Bridge area. It is surrounded by forest and directly next to the McKenzie River, right in the riverbank. The private 2.5 acres includes parking spaces for 3-4 cars near the house and a couple more next to the driveway on the way in. Although this house is located far from a city, there is a public bus running all the way to the city of Eugene (it takes some time to travel that distance by bus.) Driving or cycling are the best ways to get around the area. Most pets are allowed but please ask first. There is a $25 pet fee.
