Share the downstairs areas - spacious double living room (with half-bath), dining room, full kitchen. Full use of the kitchen for cooking. In season (late spring, summer, early fall), enjoy the front porch (private/accessed through French doors in the living room). Washer/dryer in the basement. Housekeeping monthly (full cleaning of the entire house) at no extra charge. Bi-monthly or weekly cleaning, negotiable. The housekeeper will also be available to answer any questions about the property and to troubleshoot, should any issues arise (plumbing, etc.). The house is located in a neighborhood with a historic designation (the Abel Bennett Tract). Back yard with mature landscaping. Herb garden as well, which you are welcome to use for cooking in the summer. Beautiful, quiet street just two blocks from Lourdes Hospital. Two blocks to the west you will find a commercial street with a locally owned restaurant, a pizzeria with an artisanal flair, liquor and convenience stores. Thai restaurant and pubs just a few blocks beyond that. Beautiful Recreation Park, with one of Binghamton's historic carousels and a public swimming pool and tennis courts, is just three blocks north. Bus lines one block away (free to all BU students, faculty, and staff with a swipe of your BU id card); routes take you to downtown, shopping malls, and Binghamton University campuses (main campus, downtown campus, Pharmacy and Nursing Schools in Johnson City). If you have a car, there is covered parking in a 2-car garage; additional off-street parking is available in the driveway, and there is always street parking (alternate side of the street in winter months). Smoking and pets not permitted. Typically, shoes off in the house, to keep the living quarters clean.
