Two spacious private rooms, each with a queen-sized bed and private bath, along with modern amenities like high-speed internet, WiFi, and streaming video. Your stay at Loch Haven includes: - Internet via WiFi or Ethernet, Netflix, and DVD player for your enjoyment - A breakfast nook in one of the rooms with coffee maker, tea kettle, microwave, and mini fridge for self-catering - A full country kitchen, complete with stove, oven, French door black refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, and waffle iron, among other goodies. - Coffee/tea provided - Space heaters, portable AC, another AC, portable swamp cooler, and extra pillows/blankets available for controlled comfort - Your stay also includes the use of our entire house, including the living area, front porch, private terrace, and balcony, all with spectacular views. - Each bedroom has a queen bed that sleeps two each, plus there is a queen air mattress for two more, a chaise longue for a seventh, and a comfy recliner for an eighth....and there's plenty of room for even more! Our home is situated at the top of a very steep, windy mile-long road. Although it might be a bumpy ride, it's worth it once you see the views. We're the last visible house on the right, so you feel as if you have the entire mountainside to yourselves. Since we live in the country, wildlife viewing is at its best! Depending on the time of year, you might see lizards scamper across the front porch or over the stones; quail trot across the road or snuggle up on the roof; magnificently woven webs that magically appear overnight; bizarre, harmless insects; mud-swallows nesting in the eaves, swirling overhead, or sunning themselves on the roof; deer feeding on our garden at dawn; wild turkeys mosey across the fields; gophers peeking out of their holes, and more! Two golden Eagles and a bald Eagle have been seen in the area. Sometimes from the house's balcony.
