Available for short and long term stays, the Cottage Retreat is your escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. We think dogs are family members too, well behaved dogs (max of 2 dogs) are welcome but must stay off furniture. Garage has been recently remodeled into a hangout room! This is not a guest suite- you have the entire house and two acre property to yourself. This cottage in the woods features 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. In the first bedroom, there is a queen bed where you can catch views of the pines as you fall asleep. You will also find a small closet and nightstands so you can settle in. In the second bedroom, there is a twin bed and large desk, making this the perfect room for kids or a quiet area for work. This bedroom also includes a walk-in closet. In the living room, there is additional sleeping space with a queen pull-out couch. The family room also includes a bookshelf full of books that you can use during your stay and some games and puzzles to keep everyone in the family entertained. The TV over the fireplace has access to Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. The WiFi is 100mbps down, perfect for working remote. The cozy kitchen is perfect for cooking a family dinner or making a hearty breakfast before a walk in the back yard. The kitchen is fully stocked with a variety of pots/pans, lots of plates and bowls, grilling tools, mini crock pot, toaster and utensils. In the dining room, enjoy the complementary coffee and tea bar. Gather around the kitchen table for some games or to catch up with friends. The heated garage has been recently converted to a hangout room with a TV, board game table, and putting green! Catch a sunset in the backyard as you fire up the grill and have a bonfire with your family. This is the perfect place for pets, and dogs love to run around the large yard. The Cottage does not have lake access, but Golden Lake Park has a public beach and lake access (4 minute drive down the road). Check-in access is via front door keypad. Code is sent day of check-in. Host is available 24/7 via AirBnb app and will respond as soon as possible to any requests. The Cottage has A/C for those hot summer days. There is an outside Ring camera used when there are no guests at the cottage. It is shut off during all guest stays. The red shed is not accessible during guest stays. Cats are not allowed at the Cottage.
