Close to Denison University, Newark Earthworks, Amish Country. You’ll love our place for the outdoor space, and ambiance - great for couples, families with kids, big groups, and furry friends. This two room romantic suite opens up to the courtyard - lay in bed and listen to the bubbling of the fountain and chirping birds in the morning. The Carriage House is decorated in a light equestrian theme and has an electronic fireplace in the bedroom. Bath includes a walk-in multi-head spa shower. Wander the gardens and fields. Chill out in the pine forest. Lay in a hammock and read. Relax with a glass of wine in the courtyard. Make a bonfire in the fire pit. Enjoy the common areas in the main manor - tv rooms, living room with working fire place, screened in porch, dining room with seating for up to 18. Local vinted wine and cheese is served every afternoon at about 5. We live in the apartment above the suite. Orchard House is an 1850's Stucco Italianate Manor on a 12 acre farmette just 2 miles outside of Granville, voted Ohio's most charming village. You'll need a car to get into town - a simple drive to Granville, Newark or Pataskala. There's Uber too, if you plan on hitting the local breweries! If you're into cycling we're near bike routes and the TJ Evans bike path the crosses the county. A hearty, gourmet, farm direct breakfast is served every morning - eggs from our chickens, veggies from our garden and fruit from the orchard. Ease into the day sipping One Line coffee in the screened in porch.
