I like to provide guests with a private, relaxing, and enjoyable experience and make myself available to provide assistance at any time to fulfill those goals. Contacting me by text is the best way to kick start any interaction. We are located at the end of Merchant Rd. which is private and has only a handful of residences. While convenient to I-95, we are just far enough away to escape all the pesky noise and light pollution. You will have a sense of seclusion and experience the feeling of being out in nature with all the amenities of everday living. We are 5 miles from I-95 and 17 miles to Bangor. We are remote enough to where public transportation is not reliable or advisable to this location. For a unique situation, I may be able to provide airport or bus transport. Things to do: A restaurant guide is provided upon your arrival. If you have questions prior to that, please let me know. There are museums, landmarks, guided tours, live music, concerts, nature trails, river walks and cruises, bike, kayak, and canoe rentals, live theatre, movie theaters, escape rooms, wineries and breweries, and adventure activites all located in the Bangor region with many potential day trips to state, national parks, or white water rafting adventures. I provide a few more specifics about these activities with every reservation. This listing has been upgraded from common shared spaces to a private bedroom, bathroom, and living space apartment accommodation. Former reviews may be reflections of the former set up but rest assured, it's the same cozy log cabin space that has charmed many guests. Host still occupies an attached section of the cabin which is separate and has it's own exterior entrance. This is the main reason we still employ quiet hours.
