Beautiful Charming Farmhouse
My home is cozy, comfortable, private and conveniently located just one minute from the bike path and five minutes from Look Park. If you like to be outside relaxing, I have beautiful gardens and several games you can enjoy (croquet, cornhole). My home is very cozy and comfortable, furnished with beautiful antiques which adds to the warmth of the space. There is a large dining room table that fits at least 8 people and is perfect for dining, playing games and conversation. The living room has a large cozy couch which is perfect for a number of people to lounge on. Visitors always comment on how lovely it is and they feel comfortable and "at home" right away. There entire house is yours for your stay. There may be times I need to come by to water the gardens or shovel snow but I will always check in with you about finding a time that works. The master bedroom is on the first floor as well as the bathroom making it easily accessible. There is also a fairly large backyard. Feel free to play croquet, corn hole or just sit at one of the tables and relax. In addition, I have a bbq guests are free to use. I am always available throughout your stay. I can orient you to the area and give you some great recommendations of where to go - restaurants and cafes, museums, parks, yoga studios, bike paths ... I also respect your privacy and give you as much space as you need. When you arrive I have a list of wonderful restaurants and other things to do. One of the nicest things about this location is the proximity to Look Park. I am a 10 minute walk to the Park via the bike path. The bike path is about a 2 minute walk from my house and is a great place to bike, go for a run or take a stroll. I am also about a five minute walk into downtown Florence which has a wonderful diner (Miss Flo's Diner), a child-friendly cafe, the Pie Bar, a hard cider bar, a brewery, a hair/beauty salon, a small grocery/liquor store and other small local businesses. Parking is available and there is a bike path just up the street. It is a 3 mile walk to downtown Northampton. I recommend bringing bikes in the warm weather if you have them. There are a few things to be aware of. There is only one bathroom which is on the ground floor so if you are looking for a bathroom on the second floor as well, this might not be a good fit for you. The antique stove works but does need the pilot light to be lit every so often. It works beautifully. If you are uncomfortable using it, there is also a large toaster oven that is big enough to cook a whole chicken in it. There is also an electric kettle to use.
