Enjoy this basement suite of a home built in 1924. The suite is SMALL (only 275 sf) and the CEILINGS ARE LOW (6’1” high) and squeaky (you will hear other guests above you). This 2-room suite has a living space with a kitchenette and a bedroom with a full bathroom. There is a desk with a printer/scanner/copier. PARKING IS ACROSS THE STREET. MORE DETAILS BELOW. The 6 stairs to the basement are narrow and steep. 15-min walk from downtown Plymouth. 20-min drive to the airport. PLEASE READ BELOW! The updated basement suite is 275 square feet. As mentioned before, the CEILINGS ARE LOW (6’1” high) and THE CEILINGS SQUEAK when people above the suite move around. Note that the flat above you is another rental, and guests may or may not be there during your stay. There are two rooms for your exclusive use. The living space has a kitchenette that is equipped with two electric burners, a microwave, and small fridge. Pots, pans, dishware, and utensils are available to enjoy a meal. You’ll also find a Keurig (singles provided for Keurig), toaster, and blender available for use. There is a small dining table with two chairs. The living space has a small couch and a smart TV. Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Amazon Prime are provided. The bedroom area has a queen-size bed that is open to the full bathroom. The full bathroom has a vanity and shower with a private toilet area. A hairdryer is available for use. There is a shared washer and dryer available for use. Access to the flat is shared through a side door, but the door to the suite locks from the inside and a key is provided for the duration of your stay. The entire suite is for your use. The house is on a busy two-way road and located 2 blocks from an active train crossing. You might hear train horns during your stay. At times, the train passes by 2 – 3 times per night. Plymouth, Michigan is a quintessential American town. While it is a suburb of Detroit, you’ll find that it has its own personality and feels like a small town. At the heart of the downtown, you’ll discover a city park that is the hub of the city happenings. Surrounding the park, there are several restaurants, a movie theater (showing movies Thurs – Sun), ice cream shop and café. Parking is available across the street. The suite is only a 10-minute walk from downtown Plymouth (2-min drive for those visiting in the dead of winter). It is located within a 25-minute drive to downtown Ann Arbor, 25-minute drive to downtown Detroit, and 20-minute drive to Detroit Metro Airport. Uber is available in the area.
