Entire Hilltop House in Gill with Panoramic Views

This charming two-story, fully-furnished guest house is a hilltop island of panoramic views, birds galore, wooded trails and endless fields. Enjoy your peaceful country getaway (w/wifi) while living just minutes from great restaurants, cafes, bakeries, shops, music venues, and art galleries. A 10-minute drive to Greenfield center, NMH, Turners Falls and more, the house is spacious but cozy - perfect for a solo guest, couple, or a family of four to five, and manageable for slightly larger groups. Excellent cell service, and the house now has Wifi! For return guests who previously enjoyed the fact that we didn't, we will happily unplug it before your arrival :) Our guest house is located across the road from our own family house, and has unlimited access to 100 acres of hills, meadows, forests, and pond. It's a leaf-peeper's dream come true, has a vast array of wintertime sledding options for the whole family, has a small private outdoor porch, and access to its own private yard area. Guests have access to the entire house and surrounding property. We give our guests space, but are available when needed. We love our neighborhood! The town of Gill boasts two of our favorite establishments - the Gill Tavern (a spectacular dining experience) and Upinngil Farm (an honor-system one-stop farm store with large variety of fresh local products). Our neighborhood is perfect for walks (low traffic streets) and also extremely bike-friendly, with safe, scenic roads around Franklin County as well as up into southern Vermont and New Hampshire. The John W. Olver Transit Center in Greenfield is our main public transportation center, where there are buses and trains available to Boston, New York, and surrounding areas. Driveway parking, laundry facilities in the basement, big sandbox for kids. We ask all guests to leave the house as clean as you found it. Pet-owners: Though we love dogs, please note that there is a one-time $50 pet fee, applicable to any reservation with pet/s. Once your reservation is confirmed, we will alter the price to reflect this fee. We also require you to clean up 100% after your pet, to vacuum the house before you go, and we don't allow any long-haired animals that shed. For more than 4 guests, there is an additional $25 fee per guest over the age of 5. The house is well-stocked with kitchen basics, spices and staples (we have a coffee maker and grinder, but BYOB - bring your own beans).
