A perfect vacation home to relax in the summer or winter. The space is bright and airy surrounded by oaks. Kick back on the deck or hang out with a movie downstairs. It’s a great place for both families or larger groups. Nearby attractions include Dodge Ridge Ski Resort and Pinecrest Lake, Black Oak Casino, Moaning Caverns, and Murphys. Yosemite National Park and Calaveras Big Trees are an easy day trip. This is a place for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Sierra Nevada Foothills. Featuring smart TV, WiFi, Alexa, Amazon and Netflix. It is secure and has plenty of outdoor lighting for your safety. In addition to the fireplace there are heaters in every room for winter. A portable air conditioner has recently been added in the main living room in addition to fans in every room for hot summer weather. This three bedroom/two bath house has sleeping options for couples, singles and kids plus a futon downstairs, sleeping up to 8 guests. Two living spaces make this home comfortable for everyone. The kitchen and dining area have many amenities and condiments for cooking. Extra seating is available. Paper goods are provided for those who rather not wash the dishes. There is no dishwasher. PARKING: Parking is limited and driveway is steep. Please limit the number of cars to 3. Be considerate of neighbors. THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA: Groceries/Gas: 5 min Dodge Ridge Ski Resort/Pinecrest Lake (30 min): skiing, boating, swimming, hiking, amphitheater Twain Harte Downtown (10 min): Dining, mini-golf, concerts in the park and public pool. Historic Downtown Sonora (15 min): Dining, shopping, sight-seeing Black Oak Casino (15 min): Fine Dining, bowling, entertainment, live concerts and gambling Columbia State Park (25 min): Historic Gold Rush Town, Stagecoach Rides, shops, special events Moaning Caverns Adventure Park (40 min): Spiral Staircase Tour, Zipline, Rock Climbing Wall Murphys (45 min): Wine Tasting, dining, hiking Yosemite (2 hours): Hiking, Sightseeing, Half Dome, Glacier Point Calaveras Big Trees (1 hour): Sequoia Big Trees Tour, picnic Parking is limited, so it's recommended to have no more than three vehicles. Parking in the neighbor's drive is not allowed. (bottom left as you go up the driveway is not our property.) Contact us any time during your stay and we will get back to you ASAP. Crystal Falls is a subdivision close to Twain Harte, Sonora and Columbia State Park for shopping, wine tasting, and adventure. Pinecrest, Melones, and Don Pedro lakes are all within a short drive. There are plenty of hiking trails throughout Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties. Moaning Caverns Adventure Park is known for its zip line and 16 story spiral staircase. Black Oak Casino has dining and entertainment for the entire family. Dodge Ridge Ski Resort is a short drive as is Leland Meadows for sledding. Also within two hours, you can visit majestic Yosemite Valley or Calaveras Big Trees. This is a one-stop spot for both summer and winter. The driveway is steep and can be challenging. There is limited parking. Two vehicles near the house and one below the house. Please be considerate and do not park in neighbor's driveway for any reason.
