This home is located in a tree-lined🌳street in Ferguson, 10 min from the STL airport, 20 min from downtown St. Louis, and is close to Christian Hospital, UMSL, Boeing, Emerson, and Express Scripts. The house is across the street from a park and <1 mile from restaurants, grocery, pharmacy. Plenty of free street parking. Your bedroom is spacious with a comfortable queen size bed. The room has a ceiling fan, and 2 windows. Free wifi throughout home. Full kitchen. Piano! 🎹 And there’s a dog. 🐕 Make yourself at home in this tree-lined neighborhood 10 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes by car from downtown St. Louis. The house is right across the street from a park and a short distance in car or walking from shopping and the Ferguson Farmers market on Saturdays. Street parking is free and readily available. All of the rooms have hardwood floors, are colorful and cozy and decorated with one-of-a-kind treasures from around the world and local artist finds. Relax with a cup of tea on the couch in the living room or on the front porch swing, enjoy a meal in the raspberry-colored dining room, or read a book in the hammock in the backyard. Your bedroom is spacious and well-lit with a very comfortable queen-sized bed. Your bed will be made up with soft cotton sheets and handmade quilts. The room has (central) heat, A/C, a ceiling fan, and two opening windows. Free wifi throughout. Please note: this is my private home, and my dog Ruby lives here as well! She’s very friendly and sweet but will bark when you first arrive. Give her a treat (I have treats at the front entry for this purpose) and she’ll soon be your best friend! :) Guests will have access to the whole main floor, including kitchen, dining room, living room, and the "hearth room." Guests can also use the washer/dryer in the basement (2 free loads per week, detergent provided), and have full access to the backyard and front porch, including patio, porch swing, rocker, and hammock. I enjoy meeting new people and look forward to welcoming you for your stay! Ferguson, MO, is like a small town, but just 15-20 minutes from downtown St Louis. Ferguson is an old train depot town, with a downtown dining and commercial district, historic brick buildings, beautiful tree-lined streets, parks, and neighborhoods with many century homes. The house is 10-15 minutes by car (or cab or Uber) from the airport. Check out Metro St. Louis for public transit options. The house is within walking and biking distance from parks and downtown Ferguson, with many restaurants. Please note: I'm very sensitive to synthetic scents and perfumes from air fresheners, scented body sprays (i.e. Axe) etc., so I ask that guests please do refrain from using them during their stay. Also, I do provide laundry detergent, and you are welcome to do up to 2 loads of laundry per week at no extra charge as part of your stay.
