Lea’s Redway Cottage

Lea’s redway cottage is in the small town of redway. It is 2 blocks from the Mateel music venue and 10 minutes from the beautiful California redwoods. In addition the ocean is an hour drive away in Shelter Cove. Redway is also a good location to stay while preparing to hike The Lost Coast and other trails! This location is great for hiking, swimming in the Eel river, fishing, and viewing huge original old growth redwoods. Discounts offered for longer stays! Nearby there are several restaurants, a grocery store, post office, ATM, hardware store, Heath center, and laundromat..all within walking distance. I am pleased to be able to list this cottage for Airbnb use. I no longer live in it but did so for many years while I taught special education at Redway School. The neighborhood is a small quiet residential area so no large parties This area is great for biking, there is a public bus between redway and eureka. Since this is a rural area the use of Uber is limited, using your own vehicle is the best way to travel in this area! No smoking inside the cottage! Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. Excess garbage (more than one garbage can per stay) will incur an extra fee.
