Fiber high-speed internet and great cell-phone service ideal for working remotely. French doors, beamed ceilings, candle-filled decorative fireplaces, antique wood floors - the perfect country get-away. Perfect location for year-round activities or romantic getaway. Completely private yet accessible to all the Hudson Valley has to offer. Please note the property is not suited to small children as the stairs up to the master suite have no railing, and we don't accept pets. Whole house I'm accessible via cell phone and text for any questions. Self check-in via Smartlock. FaceTime tour after arrival to familiarize guests with house. Caretaker lives 1 mile up the road. Avalon Cottage is the perfect, private escape located 20 minutes from Hudson, NY and Great Barrington, MA. Close to Taconic Parkway but very private and secluded. Closest neighbor (our caretaker) is a mile away. -Guests affirm that all in their party are in good health at time of check-in and have had no contact with anyone COVID-positive or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, as detailed by the CDC, within 2 weeks of check-in -Rentals up to 14 days include utilities. For 14+ day rentals, utilities included up to $200 per month -Long term stays of 30 days or more include bi-weekly housekeeping (we have a super housekeeper who adheres to all Covid cleaning protocols); guests pay for final cleaning -Septic system. DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING OTHER THAN TOILET PAPER PLEASE. No wipes, etc. -Excess cleaning charges for living space, damage, excessively dirty cookware, bakeware, etc. outside normal usage wear/tear will be charged back to guest -We don't accept pets
