A hidden gem with totally private lake point, extensive lake front beach and water access, acres of wooded backdrop, and a rustic and comfortable cottage. Close to wineries and tourist attractions such as Watkins Glen State Park, Geneva, etc. Perfect for family gatherings, a nature retreat with college friends, or a peaceful getaway for a couple. Our first guests of the season (June 2020) say it best: “Wow. Private beach is an understatement. If you are looking for location, this is it. The property is absolutely stunning. We spent the entire weekend on the lake. Swimming, canoeing, spending time on the dock watching the boats go by, playing cards at the picnic table on the water, lounging while the sun sets, a beach fire under thousands of stars. We had a perfect, quiet, weekend away. There is a beautiful grill for a summer bbq! We used it for almost every meal. The cottage was perfect for us and our needs; we spent most of our time outside by the lake, but lots of towels, clean linens, dish and cooking ware and comfy beds for crashing after a day in the sun. Property is easily accessible by car from freeway, and close to Watkins Glen and Geneva Closest airports include Elmira, Rochester and Syracuse Buses from NYC to Geneva or Elmira - WATER - we supply filtered drinking water for you as we don't recommend drinking tap water at the cottage. It is fine to cook with however. - no wifi, however cell service is excellent (hot spots work great) - canoe and kayak on premises, as well as life jackets, water shoes, floaties and other water toys/equipment - great swimming and fishing on the lake
