We are also available to help with any incidentals during your stay. Country setting just 5 min. from Stevens Point. Enjoy the patio or dock, walks, or borrow our kayaks, to explore the river! Experience nature's beauty, complete with occasional deer, squirrels, geese, even swans. Sunrises and sunsets are the best! We can't wait to host you! Our recently renovated lower level space includes a modern guest kitchen, three large bedrooms, living space both in and outdoors. We also have a closet filled with games and toys for children. Our biggest attraction is the beautiful Wisconsin River view. Nothing like it, any season of the year! Because of too many issues with previous guests, we eliminated alcohol as an option when you are on our premises. Lots of fun awaits your stay with our property. We have a hand-crafted chess table and a tournament-style foosball table. French patio doors open to a large patio with seating to enjoy your view of the WI River. Chill at the end of the day with a nice fire (we provide the fire wood), or watching movies on the 65" Apple TV in the living space. The master suite has a king bed with a memory foam mattress top, a sitting area and private bathroom. 50" Apple T.V. along with plenty of dresser space and large walk-in closet available for storage. We have an additional twin mattress in the closet that you can pull out for someone to sleep. Families can also set up an air mattress or use the loveseat for littles to sleep close by! Also in the sitting area is a desk area for your working space. One guest room has a queen size bed and memory foam mattress topper. Private vanity area, shares a jack and jill bathroom with the twin room, making it feel more like and en suite. 50" Apple T.V., desk and dressers for your use as well as a large walk-in closet. Full size baby crib available in the room as well. Twin beds in the third bedroom. Complete with its own vanity area with a jack-and-jill bathroom. A walk-in closet, with plenty of hanging and dresser space, convenient for longer stays. There is also a work space if you're working away from home, or need to do some school work! We have a 4th bedroom available as well, but it is up on the main level. A queen bed with a half bath. Showers will have to happen in the lower level for this room. With all of the windows to the view of the river, the feel is more like it's own space than a lower level of a home. We live in the upper level, but come and go from the residence a lot and interact as a need arises. Once you check in, there is access to the lower level doors by going around to the back of the house, if you prefer. Front door, keypad entrance, with lower level access to the outside patio area and back yard/river access. We are available for limited interaction, based on guest needs and host availability. Hosts available by text and phone 24/7 if a need arises. We have hosted guests from the U.S. and all over the world. We've also been home to 14+ International students from two months, up to nearly four years. We love sharing cultural experiences and have enjoyed countless guests. Children are welcome but MAY NOT go near the river without adult supervision and wearing a life jacket. The river current is unpredictable, depending upon the season and weather pattern, so safety is of utmost importance. Any river usage is at your own risk. No diving from the dock. Because of the river bottom, the depth is non-predictable from season to season and with the current changes.
