Tree Top Chalet - Mountain Views

Get away from it all while being close to the slopes, hiking and restaurants and other Catskills attractions. Just 15 minutes from Belleayre and 2.5 hours from NYC. Custom built log home on 6.5 acres with lots of sunlight, spectacular views of the valley and the surrounding mountains. Nicknamed for the amazing views, the high ceilings, the coziness. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), and big groups. The house is spacious and great for get togethers. The house is located on the mountain top allowing for spectacular views! The grand room overlooks the valley with large windows allowing sunlight throughout the day and a stone wood-burning fireplace. The house is spacious, fully stocked with cookware and fast internet for working from home or streaming movies. The main floor has 1 bedroom, full bath and kitchen area, upstairs has 2 bedrooms and another bathroom. Feel free to roam around the property and there is a sitting area with a fire pit - plenty of firewood is provided. The house was recently painted, new kitchen appliances, furniture and bedding. The common area has a Smart TV, no cable TV. You'll have access to the entire house and surrounding property which is great to hike on! The decks offer amazing views from the Appalachian chairs. There is a pool and hot tub on the property which isn’t available for guest use, we hope you understand! There is a great pool in Andes which is free and open to everyone. Available by phone anytime during your stay Peaceful and calm. Your closest neighbor is far off into the distance. When you decide to venture out, the town is just 10 minutes up the road and there you can find some great places to eat and some great shops to explore. The house is at the top of the mountain peak. A car is required and All Wheel or 4 Wheel drive vehicle is recommended during snowy times. The driveway is a steep hill that is plowed and sanded. Without a 4 Wheel drive we recommend parking at the bottom of the driveway and walking up. This home is "just the right amount" of "Off The Grid". There's internet access and great cellular service. The home has all of the luxuries of home; however, it's still a house in the mountains. With that said, don't be surprised if you see wild life outside - Turkeys & Deer are usually easy to spot. Very close to skiing, hiking and the Catskills scenic drive.
