Tiny House amidst the forest (Movie-set Inspired!)

Newly renovated, cozy and quirky, our tiny house is the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. Our property, far from the hustle and bustle of city life, is a beautiful space in the forest. Being movie set builders left us with set parts, so we built them into this little gem...away from main house, private deck, full kitchen, shower, AC, record player, lots of records, tape player + tapes, hiking trails, swim. pond, trampoline, art installations. Due to covid 19 we prefer longer stays. First of all, we live VERY remote...the next town is a 25 minute car ride away! The last 3 miles are gravel road and a steep driveway (we have a low rider scion and have had never problems). The property and the tiny house are really surrounded by woods, woods, woods.... The tiny house acommodates 2 adults. We live on 25 acres and adjoin a state forest, have a one acre swimming pond (which we share with a neighbor), no fishing please, a trampoline in the woods and a slackline. there is also a helicopter on the roof next to the cabin in which you can hang out and dream about your next flight far away.....there are meandering hiking trails through the woods, and plenty of nooks and crannies throughout the property to provide you with adventure, fun, relaxation, and inspiration. Henry is a certified yoga and acro yoga instructor and is available to give private lessons for singles and couples ($35 per 1 1/2 hr session). Bedding includes pillows, linens, and blankets, and towels will be provided. The toilet is a compost toilet! Very user friendly, eco-friendly, and not as scary as it sounds. The compost toilet is cleaned completely after each guest stay and has no 'ick' factor!! We also like to note that we support and love to host members of the LGBT community and Black Lives Matter!! Everything on our property is accessable to our guests. Feel free to wander aroundour part of the valley and on the trails. we share our pond with our neighbors. We will be able to help guests with many recommendations, including: hiking, swimming, sightseeing, access to Blue Ridge Parkway, Town of Wilkesboro and Boone events, shopping, and eating. We live on the property, are available to answer questions and help as needed if we are at home ( we are not available thru cell or text). we respect guests privacy if they want to have solitude - just let us know... The neighborhood is woods, woods, woods...Nearby attractions include: Blue Ridge Parkway (20 min drive from tiny house), the little town of Wilkesboro--home of the "Merlefest" in April and "Applefest" in August (30 min drive), West Jefferson and Mt. Jefferson just up the mountain, the town of Boone and hometown of Appalachian State University, and Blowing Rock, home of the Tweetsie railroad. All four towns are nice small towns for strolling, shopping for very good local arts and crafts and just hanging out... There is no public transportation for the next 50 miles....we are very remote! The kitchen is equipped with stove, microwave, toaster oven, waffle maker and dorm style fridge, and all the pots, plates, utensils and cooking spoons etc. you find in a fully functional kitchen. we also have a small outdoor grill available - please bring your own charcoal. we provide coffee, sugar and tea.
