Cute one story historic home

Extra large wood paneled room with a private bath and separate entrance. Quiet neighborhood with a park across the street and is walking distance to downtown. This space was added on to the original house when the couples Son went to collage. It has a separate entrance a private bath and is a large comfortable room. You are welcome to use the dinning room and kitchen, we just ask that you clean up after you are through. There is a gas grill out back you may use. We also have a gazebo out back where the pool used to be, with tables and chairs. You may also use the washer and dryer that are in the garage. We have on site parking. George and I are semi-retired so we are most usually available to help you find your way around town. We are an active member of our church and community and it seems like there is always something going on, but we always put our guest needs first. We do have a cat that we do our best to keep out of our airbnb room. Lake City is a small town where everybody knows everybody. We are currently in the process of giving it a face lift, and actually creating a lake with a nice park around it. If you stay a few days there is some interesting history to explore. We have a retired history teacher who gives walking tours of our town. We are too small for buses but we have a local cab company and we have our own small transit van for getting around town. We have a nice senior center and it is fun to check out the shops downtown. Parking isn't usually a problem unless there is an event going on. This is a walking friendly town and people of the town will greet you as you walk by and beam with pride if you compliment them on their yard!
