SummitHaven is centrally located between Toronto, Niagara Falls and St Jacob's Amish country. It is close to Cambridge, Brantford and Hamilton as well as the charming villages of Ancaster and Dundas. Interactions is as little, or as much as desired. We are available for a chat, or if privacy is preferred, it's yours! We love how close we are to both city attractions and small town charm, all while enjoying the quiet and natural beauty of the country. We are between Hamilton, Cambridge and Brantford, each offering it's own unique attractions. From the variety of new restaurants to unique shopping in Hamilton (see Locke Street, Ottawa Street, James street N,) to the quaint town of Dundas and nearby beautiful Burlington. The Butterfly Emporium in Cambridge as well as it's 3 separate yet unified shopping areas of Galt, Preston and Hespeler are all part of a city to be explored. Discover the Old City centre and the Grand River running through it. The Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant is not to be missed nor the outlying small towns of Mt. Pleasant, Scotland, and Paris. There are many bike and foot paths running along Lake Ontario and through native forests located within and without the cities - the RailTrail and the Bruce Trail. Checkout Hamilton's recently designated bike path for singers - the Zangfietspad sing & cycle path. Bird watching is a real pleasure in the Cherry Hill wetlands and forest of the Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) as well as gorgeous outdoor gardens and the inspiring and spirit renewing Mediterranean greenhouse that is open all year. With so much to see and do, there is no end of interesting ideas to fill your days. SummitHaven is 3 minutes from major highways, 10 minutes from the Hamilton International Airport, and 20 minutes from the train and bus to Toronto. Taxi and Uber service are available. SummitHaven is a complete home that is fully outfitted and tastefully decorated. Slippers are provided, as well as plush robes, extra towels, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner/lotion, an iron/ironing board, spices, pens, scissors, reading material, board games, music and smart TV (Prime, Youtube NetFlix etc.) We also have (upon request) a pack n' play, highchair and toys for young children.
