Located on the pristine shores of Teal Lake offering abundant beauty, wildlife and outdoor activities - Electric motors only allowed, 2 kayaks provided. Quiet, residential neighborhood, conveniently located for day trips in either direction - Picture Rocks in Munising or up to the Copper Country. 12 miles from Marquette, easy walk to local supermarket and public sand beach. About a mile to antique shopping, restaurants, bars and Iron Ore Heritage Trail for biking or hiking. Love of the 50's and mid century design have influenced my 1950s, two level ranch with main/street level being guest space, lower level personal space. It is listed as entire home as this is the most accurate description available. Guests have the comforts of entire upper floor with exception of one closed room (used for storage) and fireplace. Garage may be used for bikes or water toys etc or a moderately sized vehicle. Full unshared access to deck, backyard and dock in season. Off street parking for one vehicle only. Available as needed, please text or call if you need anything. I do have a space in a separate level with private entry (semi private in the winter if you choose to use the garage for entry). If around, I do not use any of the outdoor spaces allowing maximum privacy for guests. Quiet residential neighborhood, walking distance to supermarket and public sand beach. Majority of pubs, restaurants and trails about a mile from the house. Of note also Negaunee is well known for it's antique shopping opportunities and pizza! Public boat launch down the road, again no gas motors allowed on Teal Lake tho'. 2 kayaks available to explore the lake but bring your own fishing poles if you plan to fish. Fisherman will find a variety of fish including small mouth bass, crappie, sucker, pumpkin seed sunfish, bream, bluegill, perch and walleye. Very nice, clean Laundromat about a mile away. While supermarket, beach and pizza are within walking distance you really do need a vehicle to best enjoy the general area. *If you are not able to make the check in by 6:00pm please let me know, I like to be available to welcome you and answer any questions you may have. *Highway runs parallel to the Teal Lake, the house is some distance away but depending how the wind is blowing muffled highway noise can travel across the lake. *2 kayaks supplied to enjoy the lake. Adult large, adult extra large and adult medium small life jackets provided. Please let me know if you have additional needs. *As the snow flies some shoveling of path may be needed, shovel and salt supplied - Please inquire if questions. *Directly in front of 2 steps leading to the house can get slippery when precipitation freezes, there is a hand rail and can be avoided if parking in the smaller garage. *Help yourself to coffee, tea, herbs or condiments you may need to make a meal. *Video can be viewed at FB upkiwi2017
