The Bear Mountain Cabin

Welcome to the Bear Mountain Cabin! It is a serene getaway where you can relax and unwind on our 136 acre parcel of land. Our cabin is situated in Brunswick, Vermont, directly across from the Silvio O. Conte Wildlife Refuge within the Nulhegan Basin. We are strategically located between Island Pond, Vermont and North Stratford, New Hampshire. We have access to thousands of acres of public land open to fishing, hunting, hiking, bird-watching, bicycling, and more! Snowshoeing and snowmobiling from the Stone Dam Road - 1 mile ATV - extensive network of trails - 5 miles Swimming at Brighton Beach or Maidstone Lake - both approximately 10 miles Hunting - turkey, deer, bear, moose, grouse, etc. Hiking - everywhere, including the Refuge’s trails along the Nulhegan River Cycling - everywhere on the miles upon miles of gravel roads Shooting - public shooting range within the West Mountain WMA - 4 miles Bird-watching - unique and rare species only found within the region's boreal forests New for 2020 over 1 mile of trails on the property Plenty of parking and room for vehicles and trailers. The whole house and property are yours to enjoy! I enjoy meeting my guests at least once. They will have my cell phone number and they can call or text me anytime. Secluded, with no neighbors. It is very private and relaxing. Guests will need a car to get around. Biking is an option, but the closest store is six mile away.
