The Nut House sits on a 200 foot bluff overlooking Table Rock Lake. We are part of the Emerald Beach community. The best part of this 3 BR 2 BA home is the 900+ SF deck. There is a charcoal BBQ grill and comfy lounge chairs on the deck for summer, and an easy-to-light fire pit for winter (wood included). Lake access/boat ramp is 1/4 mile down this quiet street. Deer roam the neighborhood and on rare occasions you can spy fox and bald eagles. The Nut House has a fully stocked kitchen, including cooking spices. In the fridge you will find basic condiments and an automatic ice maker. A keurig coffee maker is provided, plus we supply a variety of K-cups, sweeteners, and creamers. Master bath has tub/shower combination. Extra bath has a full size walk-in shower with 2 built-in seats. There is plenty of seating on the deck for relaxing or dining al fresco. Full size washer and dryer, as well as laundry supplies, are at your disposal. Living Room has a 56" SMART TV with access to YouTubeTV included. Woodburning fire place in den has a gas starter, plus we provide the firewood. Master Bedroom features a 32" SMART TV, also with YouTubeTV access. In addition to the den, the Nut House has a second living area which is a sunroom with seating for 5 people, plus a 4-seat dining/game table. Guests have access to all areas of the home and garage, as well as the deck and yard area. Our permanent residence is in NE Arkansas, but we are immediately available via phone/text/email. Our family owns the home next door to The Nut House, and we, or some family members, may be present during your visit. If so, we will not intrude on your stay, but would be happy to meet you in person! Our neighborhood is quiet, consisting of many retired full-timers. Many are watchful of comings-and-goings, and will promptly report suspicious or inappropriate activity. You will see & hear lake activity when the seasons allow, and you may hear fishermen head out in the early morning. During the day, residents and visitors to the area drive the streets in golf carts, walk their dogs, and enjoy the lake/community. By 10:00 PM, everyone has retired inside and will appreciate you observing "quiet hours". If you are looking for a family-friendly, quiet getaway, this is a perfect spot for you. No parties are allowed. You'll need an automobile to get around the area. Although there are many activities in the region, our home is in a rural area -- meaning you will need to drive to ANY destination, even the grocery store! Branson MO is 1 hour to the east, Eureka Springs AR is 30 minutes to the south. Rogers AR is 1 hour to the west, so there is plenty to do if you're willing to drive. But you will also enjoy "down time" relaxing at home -- with provided DVDs, games and puzzles inside and the beautiful deck overlooking the lake outdoors. 1) The Nut House has a septic system, so we are VERY STRICT about the number of occupants and the items that can not be put into the system. No one likes plumbing issues, so ensure your problem-free stay by following the written guidelines found on the property! 2) The Nut House is located in a rural area. Our internet can be slow and unfortunately may not be very suitable for business use. Streaming service is somewhat sketchy and slows with multiple users. 3) Please do not smoke inside the house due to owner allergies. Smoking is allowed on the deck; please dispose of cigarette butts in the trash bin. 4) This property does not allow pets. 5) Some residents are actively campaigning against short-term rentals in our community. Please be courteous in public areas, observe quiet hours from 10 PM - 8 AM, observe the 30 mph speed limit, and do not trespass onto any other properties. 6) “We have 4 security cameras on the home's exterior in the following locations: 1) Front door visibility 2) Garage door/keypad visibility 3) Door from garage into house visibility 4) Sunroom door/den sliding door visibility”
