Welcome to Hilltop Haven! Lakefront home on top of a large bluff overlooking the TN River & Watts Bar Lake. Located in Kingston & approx 25 minutes from West Knox, offering amazing lake & mountain views & a private lakeside retreat. Enjoy a private entrance, 2000sf basement apartment w/2 bedrooms, 1 Bath, Full Kitchen/Dining, Game/Workout Room, Living Room, Office. Covered Patio w/swing, loungers, gas grill, dining table & flagstone patio w/fire pit & Adirondack chairs. Dog friendly w/approval. 2000 square feet of private space. Maximum of 2 parking spots on same level as private entrance. There are no stairs to get into the space or to get around inside. However, there is a steep paved walk to and from the waterfront on our property. No cars or trucks allowed on this drive. You will enter/exit through the covered patio area. The patio area and back yard are lighted so you can enjoy our outside space with your group after dark. The patio also has a gas grill and a fire pit. Lakeside retreat has a fire pit, wood, charcoal grill, table and 4 chairs. It also has a covered boat slip w/boat (seats 8) and swim/fishing platform w/2 Loungers & 2 Chairs. Boat excursions are available upon request and host availability. However, boat is winterized during winter months and not available. Fishing gear is also available to rent if you have a fishing license. This is sometimes a shared space with the owners as it is their only access to the boat dock/boat. Again, please remember, this area is accessed by a very steep paved walking path down & back up. No cars or trucks allowed on this drive. The living room has a large premium leather couch with power recliners and a large love seat for watching Movies/TV on the large 55" UHD LED Smart TV with surround sound. We provide HULU-Live for TV and a DVD/Blu-ray Player for watching movies. This room is large enough to accommodate 2 air mattresses if needed. The kitchen offers a refrigerator/freezer, electric stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, efficiency washer/dryer combo and Keurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee supplies. The kitchen is equipped with your cooking basics along with dishes & silverware. The kitchen features a dining room table with up to 5 chairs. The office has a large desk, IMac computer and copier/scanner for your use. The game/work out room has a treadmill, adjustable dumbbells, exercise balls, step/jump box and Air Hockey Table for your use. It also has a 55" LED TV with DVD/Blu-ray player that you can use while working out or playing Air Hockey. This room is large enough to accommodate 2 air mattresses if needed. The first bedroom features a queen bed with a memory foam topper. There is a closet with space for your belongings and an armoire with additional linens, blankets and pillows. The second bedroom has a full size bed with a memory foam topper. This bedroom has a lake view and also has a dresser and closet with space for your belongings. This space sleeps and bedding is provided for up to 8 people. However, please remember, there is only one bathroom. The bathroom has a full size tub/shower, sink, toilet and linen closet with extra linens. It also has a hair dryer and emergency personal hygiene items should you forget something. We can provide two self inflating queen air mattresses and one self inflating twin air mattress with linens upon request. You will have complete private access to the entire lower level basement apartment, 2000sf of the home and the backside of the property. There is paved parking attached to the home that will fit two cars and additional parking must be arranged before your stay if needed. The owners live in the top floor and there are NO SHARED AREAS inside the home. Please remember, there is a steep paved pathway to and from the water and no vehicles are allowed on this walking path. We live in the top floor of the home, but there are no shared inside spaces and we give our guests uninterrupted space where you can come and go as your please with your private entrance. We are available to answer any questions and want to make you feel comfortable in our home and answer any questions you may have about local area. We prefer all communication to go through the Airbnb messaging center, but we can access those messages at any time. We are almost always home enjoying our lakeside retreat, but also travel once a month for pleasure. This is a small, super quiet street with less than 8 houses total. We are located in a very rural area with a small town 10 minutes away and a major town 30 minutes away. Be prepared for quiet, country life with the sound of birds, boats & dogs. Our home sits on a hill, so our driveways and parking areas are not completely flat. There is room for 2 normal-sized vehicles to park end to end on the parking spot provided for guests. However, if you have more than 2 vehicles, anything large like a moving van or are towing anything, you must have permission for these vehicles prior to booking. We have a second lot on the street, but it is not located by the apartment. There is a steep paved walkway from the house to the water. There are no vehicles allowed on this pathway. If you are here to enjoy the water, please be prepared for a steep walk back up to the house. Your health and safety is a top priority of ours.
