We adore kids, dogs and cats who fall in love with the ample wander room in the suite, the backyard and on the trails. Message for more details. The hiking trails around King Township are beautiful. We are part of the environmentally-protected greenbelt that surrounds Toronto. There's even a King Township Trails app you can download. The entire apartment is at your disposal. The fenced-in backyard (including BBQ and outdoor fire pit) is there for you (and your dog's) enjoyment. We have a music room with a piano, guitar and violin for those so inclined. Laundry room available 24/7. Use the main house entrance and the stairs to the rooms are immediately on your right. We'll be here to greet you. We live in a different part of the house, so we'll be around should you ever need us. Very quiet, lots of green space and close to 5 star dining or local pubs. Property size in the neighbourhood ranges from a half acre to 2 acres. There is driveway parking available. Close to Highway 400 or Don Valley Parkway for main access to downtown Toronto (about a 40-minute drive, depending on traffic). We're also conveniently located 3 minutes from the Go train/bus. *COVID 19 NOTE: We are extremely diligent about cleanliness and disinfecting. We adhere to the school of common sense. We love you, but we won't be shaking your hand. We'll provide hand sanitizer and Lysol disinfectant wipes. We ask you to be diligent as well. We'll make your stay as pleasant as possible under these unusual circumstances. I love surprising guests so be prepared for a home-cooked breakfast or dinner, house specialty dessert (Pouding chômeur) or whatever else might capture my imagination. We are very flexible and can accommodate most requests. Husband is an engineer and can fix most anything. Mike is also a maniac mountain biker and is keen to take guests on the ride of their life! We discourage parties in the traditional sense. We had a lot of damage to the property after one group left, so we've had to create a policy. Bridal parties, quietish birthday parties, Dungeon and Dragons groups are heartily welcomed as they don't tend to break furniture, wander aimlessly through our part of the house or blare heavy metal at 3:00 am. :-) For guests staying longer than two weeks, the cleaning fee will change.
