The log home is a farm vacation rental for the whole family. Located on a peaceful working family farm since 1906. The home has been constructed from two restored 1800’s tobacco barns. Enjoy breath taking mountain views and farm animals. The Herds Inn is a rustic 2-bedroom log cabin constructed from two restored 1800’s tobacco barns combined with hand hewn logs. Cypress wood was extracted from old vinegar vats used at National Fruit's apple processing plant and recycled to make the hardwood floors. The home has a large kitchen, dining area, two bedrooms, 2 full baths, a large living area with a beautiful limestone fireplace. Sleeper sofa. Front porch for viewing the many farm animals and golden sunsets. Hedgebrook Farm is a working family farm where you to can view beautiful scenery and have lots of fun with your family and friends while enjoying a great country experience. The farm is home to donkeys, llamas, peacocks, chickens, ducks, great danes, and a miniature donkey. Check out procedures: •Remove all food from refrigerator and freezer. •Dispose of coffee grinds. •Put all dirty dishes in dishwasher and run dishwasher. If you have extra dirty dishes wash by hand and leave clean in the sink. (Supplies are under the sink) •Wipe all counters free of food particles. •Remove trash and place in trash container located at back porch. •Remove sheets and pillow cases from all beds and put in bathroom upstairs. •Close all doors and windows.
