Cool upper floor apartment sleeps 6 with fully equipped, condiment and spice supplied kitchen, 2 bathrooms-one with double shower, other with deep soaking tub and shower. It has 2 separate entrances leading to the open furnished deck, hammock, yard, private beach, trails, tennis/pickleball courts, basketball court, community pool. Sailing and fossil hunt are options, not included. Off street parking for 3 cars. Chill, relax w/ 2 night minimum. Solitude. Peace. Pleasure. Bayside. Double wide hammock, private Cliffside stairways and American Chestnut Land Trust trails. Pool. Beach. Annmarie Gardens, Solomons, Tiki Bar, Jerry's Place, free concerts, Chesapeake Beach, Bird Watchers' and Photographers' Paradise. Bocce ball, 2 tennis, basketball courts, shuffleboard, volleyball, badminton and horseshoes, double ocean kayak. Owners own sailboats where you may learn. Your own refrigerator/freezer stocked ahead of time if you send me a list. 2 private entrances, parking for 3 cars. Beach, pool, lake, trails, kayak, sport activities, hammock, grill, large deck overlooking woods and open sky where ospreys & eagle soar. Crab feasts, oyster scalds, concerts 2 miles away at St Leonard Fire Dept or dinner at Jerry's Place for Seafood. Breakfast is optional but recommended. Dogs allowed with pet deposit. Children under two are free. I can have staples or provide elegant meals in the fridge. If I'm in Solomons, I can clean up or stay completely out of your hair....your choice. I can arrange for you to go fishing, crabbing, sailing, kayaking, fossil hunting. Great kids birthday party venue especially if you also book the other apartment for them. My forte is scavenger hunts. I know this area like the palm of my hand having lived and boated here for over 55 years. My daughter and husband own a marina pn Broomes Island on a gentle creek in the Patuxent River just 8 miles away. I have a double ocean kayak there for your free use. I recently completed a circumnavigation using my own sailboat. Interested? Just ask. Currently racing big and small boats in Solomons and beyond. Scientists Cliffs has an unique private bayside setting and is considered a model community by University of Maryland. Rich is species diversity of flora and fauna, it's Cliffs erode thousand of fossils dating to Miocene era. If you are a hiker or birdwatcher, there are eagles soaring overhead while dozens of species of songbirds eat at my 4 feeders. Deer graze the back yard. This is the perfect adventure for children as the safe beach ( do not go near the cliffs) is close by and my zipline is right out back!! Easy buses or your own car. You can even arrive via boat. We have a boat ramp on the Chesapeake Bay or Patuxent River or Flag Harbour Marina. Free to use double ocean kayak. Sailing or learning to sail a Tartan Pride sailboat is accompanied by owners at $200/2 people or $350/4 people. Buccaneer day sailer accompanied by owner for one crew. Double Kayak is on Patuxent River where the sun sets will blow your mind. Our beach has perfect sunrises with herons, ospreys, eagles, terns and seagulls. Crab feasts with seating of 12 people arranged with day's notice at extra charge. Tennis, golf practice net, bocce and badminton set on site. All equipment, even new balls, included.
