Huge and comfortable bedroom in relaxing home

Huge bedroom with a queen sized bed, work desk, loveseat and small table. I have put a microwave, kettle and mini fridge in the living area, as a small pseudo kitchen. Perfect for a practicum student or someone working at the hospital . Less than a 5 minute drive to the hospital and downtown. Walkable (25 min), but not a straight line! Guests have the whole upstairs to themselves. A private, welcoming and comfortable space. I love my home. Past guests have said it is a welcoming and comfortable home. I have another bedroom that sleeps 2 that also can be rented. Rest assured though, I will not have 2 different parties booked at the same time, so the upstairs is yours exclusively. Guests have use of a private loft area and bathroom in addition to a very spacious bedroom. There is a kitchen at your disposal, which is shared with me. Guests staying 3 nights or more may do a load of laundry if required. I will make room for you in my fridge (your food, that is!). I am a pretty private person, but I would say socially capable. I'm happy to give suggestions and assistance to guests. I appreciate having my own space and would give space to you in return. My living room is open to the kitchen. If you need prepare a meal we will need coordinate each other. Quiet, family friendly cul de sac. Although my home is central to many things, it's much more convenient if you have a car. That being said, if you are into walking, it's a pleasant enough journey to downtown or the local grocery store, but at least a 20 minute walk each way. Downtown, shopping and the hospital are a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive away. There is an awesome walking/bike path very close by (SORRY. THIS PATH WASHED OUT AND IS CURRENTLY CLOSED. You can still reach it, just not as super convenient. Ask for details.) Both Victoria and Nanaimo are about 45 minutes drive away. The ferry to Saltspring Island is about a 20 minute drive. Although visiting without a car is possible, having transportation is suggested, as the closest grocery store is about a 20 minute walk away. Although I do have another room available (I am an empty-nester), I will NOT book it if this room is booked, in order to ensure your privacy.
