Obviously as far as activities go the city of Chicago is about a 30 min drive and 30 min train ride away. There are some fun things to do and a handful of good restaurants I can recommend. If you're here for vacation and tourist attractions however I'd recommend you go into the city. The train station is 2 miles away and a 3-5 min uber ride away. NO CATS OR DOGS ALLOWED! I have a cat and the presence of another cat or dog is stressful to him. This is NOT the place for your romantic getaway or for partying with your bro’s.
