Accessible by boat or plane access only, this island getaway is located on Sebec Lake in Dover Foxcroft. This cabin has everything you need to relax. Kitchen with gas range, refrigerator and lights, screened in porch, composite outside, hammocks This is the most remote and rustic cabin experience we can offer. Camp kitchen is equipped with gas powered range, refrigerator and lights. Composting Outhouse. Large Screened porch with futon, hammocks and dining for 4. 1 Double Bed, 1 Single Bed on the main level of the cabin. Loft with 1 Double Bed, 1 Single Bed. This cabin includes 2 kayaks and a paddleboat. Guests will have access to the whole private island, 2 kayaks, fire pit, dock, chairs and games. Typically we are present to greet you in person and answer any questions. We will then leave and unless there is an issue, you typically will not hear back from us until your stay is over. Sebec Lake is a pristine lake located in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. The lake is approx. 11 miles long and 2 miles wide at the widest point. Sebec Lake has several native fish species, including landlocked salmon, lake trout, brook trout, sunfish, American eel, brown bullhead, and white sucker. The average depth of Sebec Lake is 42 feet with the deepest point reaching 155 feet. Pine Island is on Sebec Lake in Dover Foxcroft. You will need a motor boat to get to the island. We would be happy to assist you with information on where to rent a boat for your stay at Pine Island Pine Island does not have electricity. It does however have gas lights, kitchen stove/oven, and refridgerator. There is also solar power lights, a water pump for running water in the kitchen, and a cell phone charging station.
