Inviting COVID vaccinated guests to visit our Victorian village, and stay in one of two rooms in my house available for guests. A small room, once was my husband's den. TV, a bathroom 1 door away, has a separate outside entrance if you prefer. There is parking in front of my house as well as near the entrance to this room. Motorcycles/bicycles may park in my garage Need another bed? I have another room "RELAXING IN THE HEART OF THE VILLAGE". No pets please. My dog isn’t fond of others I am convenient to Main Street, only three blocks away. A nice walk to see the town or to check out restaurants for dir. It is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, with deer wandering through now and then. I am also a short walk from the Ferndale Cemetery, which is one of the favorite places to visit. It dates back to 1868, and is still in use. The Ferndale Museum is a favorite to our visitors and contains Eel River Valley history. If you plan to attend a concert at The Old Steeple, that is also a three block walk from my house. In fact you can see the Steeple from my back yard. You are welcome to enter through the front door, but can also access this part of the house through the gate into the back yard. There is an entrance right near this room at the rear of the house. Parking is also available near the gate. I serve a continental breakfast between 7-9am. Just let me know what time you would like to eat. Sometimes both my rooms are rented and my guests will eat at the same time. A good time to get acquainted. I have had both my Covid shots and had no cases of the virus previous to them. I abide by the Covid rules. I will wear a mask when I’m around anyone if you prefer. And practice social distancing. I disinfect the areas where my guests will be. I live on the premises, so I will be there to welcome my guests. I will be available to interact with them and share my knowledge of the history of our town I love to visit with my guests, to learn about their hometown as well as hearing of their travels. Each of my guests are important and will be treated like family. The city's TOT is included in the price. I have a little dog who loves to meet my guests. My goal is to make my guests feel at home. I would like them to feel like they’re visiting family and will always be there should they need anything. A quiet neighborhood, that remains quiet through the night. Occasionally the fire whistle may sound and you might hear crickets but other than that you’ll sleep undisturbed. There are deer that wander through the neighborhood looking for flowers and shrubs to eat. They seem to prefer that over wild vegetation. It’s not unusual to see them standing in the middle of the street. My home is three blocks from the Victorian village of Ferndale, with coffee lounges, restaurants, a repertory theater and wonderful, unique shops. Just a few blocks to our Historical Cemetery, which dates back to 1868 and a short walk to our museum. The house is a cozy ranch style. You can relax in the living room, sunroom or even on a small deck overlooking the garden. A perfect spot for couples, solo adventurers or business travelers I invite you to play the piano as it doesn't get played very much. Plenty of parking on the street in front of my house or near te end by the garage.
